Our teacher, Cathy Vause, received her degree from Oregon State University and has been with WLCP since 1980. She brings a wealth of knowledge, much of it learned from OSU’s child development labs, to the classroom on a daily basis.

“Teacher Cathy” is loved by the children and parents alike for her gentle, cheerful nature, her seemingly infinite patience and her genuine concern for each child. Teacher Cathy truly believes in the opportunity that a cooperative environment can afford and her ultimate goal is that this first school experience be a positive and enjoyable one for each child.
